Bitner recently sponsored the design, development, and
commercialization of Extended Content Labeling for a pharmaceutical
application, ECL's present an opportunity for a major cost savings
initiative while contributing heavily to greener packaging. This assertive
program was made possible through integrated support among internal
resources, package component vendor, client, and relevant equipment
manufacturers. Technical transfer from pressure sensitive labels and
individual pieces of literature to a combined booklet across a single
company represents the most extensive pharmaceutical ECL implementation to
date.
